Online Merit Scholarship Form
Iowa Central and Barker Education Services Team (BEST) are pleased to announce the Online Merit Scholarship.  This scholarship is available to current students who are achieving at a high standard.  Together, Iowa Central and BEST would like to reward students by awarding recipients a scholarship to help them achieve their educational goals.  To apply for this scholarship, please complete the short form on this page. 

Eligibility Criteria:
1.       Minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher
2.       Must have completed a minimum of 24 credits at Iowa Central
3.       No balance due on the student’s account
4.       First time awardees only
5.       Full time and part-time students are welcome to apply

Value of Award:  Up to $1,000 (tuition only)

Selection Process:  A committee made up of BEST employees and Iowa Central staff will select recipients.

Notification of Awards:  Recipients will be notified by email of the outcome shortly after the deadline.

Acceptance of Awards:  Recipients of the Online Merit Scholarship will need to sign a scholarship acceptance form before any funds can be awarded.

For classes beginning on May 14, 2013:
Deadline for application              April 23rd

For classes beginning on June 11, 2013:
Deadline for application              May 21st

For classes beginning on July 9, 2013:
Deadline for application             June 18th
