Programs Offered

• Associate in Arts Degree (Gen. Ed.)

Iowa Central College Online offers the first two years of a baccalaureate program to students who intend to transfer to a four-year college or university. Specific courses are required for the A.A. Degree, including courses in English, Math, Science, Psychology, History, etc.

• Computer Networking Technology

The Computer Networking Technology Program is designed to provide graduates with the necessary skills to succeed in the jobs of the future. Graduates are able to administer a local area network, install and troubleshoot communication hardware/software and integrate technologies that the business world demands.

• Criminal Justice

Iowa Central hosts the state's Homeland Security Training Center, which trains first responders throughout Iowa. Training includes Terrorism Awareness, Incident Command, Bombing Awareness, and Weapons of Mass Destruction. Before now, individuals had to travel miles to undergo training at one of these centers. But for the first time ever, this rigorous - and essential - coursework is available to you online.

• Health Care Administation

The Associate of Science Degree in Health Care Administration at Iowa Central has been developed to provide students who are entering and those currently in field advancement opportunities within the health science and related fields.

• Human Services

Iowa Central College Online's Human Services program provides the knowledge & skills necessary for a rewarding career in assisting people in your community. Groups that benefit are children, adolescents, people with disabilities, the disadvantaged, and the aging. Job opportunities exist in both public and private human services agencies.

• Logistics and Transportation Management
