Q: How often do I have to be in class?

Attendance
To be in attendance during each week of this class you must post at least one message to any one of the course threads on two separate days during the online class week. IOWA CENTRAL COLLEGE ONLINE uses Central Time Zone year-round for attendance tracking purposes. If you are out of attendance for two or more weeks of this course, you will be automatically withdrawn by IOWA CENTRAL COLLEGE ONLINE and will not be eligible to receive course credit or a course letter grade.

Participation
To start each class week you will post new discussion topic threads dedicated to the topics and objectives for the week. Participation each week is very important and for full participation credit each week, you must participate 4 days a week in the class forum discussions. Participation is a required part of your course grade. Keep in mind that our class week begins on a Tuesday and ends on the following Monday 5 weeks later.

Lab Work
19 out of 22 classes in the Computer Networking Program have assigned lab work with the course. Students will need to gauge there time accordingly to get the course work done in the allotted time in the week it is scheduled.
